NewTech Points of Difference

We have been training developers since 1993, starting with the VB BOOTCAMP. Our courses are comprehensive and contain everything needed to get productive immediately. Each course is a self-contained package of focused instruction taught by instructors with substantial hands-on experience in the technologies they teach.

Handcrafted, NewTech-authored Courses—Tailored to Your Requirements

We never purchase course material. We write all of our own course material and accordingly, you can expect the NewTech instructor to be responsible for authoring a large part of the course material you receive.

Flexible Course Formats

In general, we offer two types of courses: 4-Day or 5-Day hands-on coding BOOTCAMPS, and 1-day, intense lecture-and-demo ASAP courses.

NOTE: Our .NET BOOTCAMP (with one .NET language and ASP.NET) is FIVE FULL DAYS long as of October, 2005. This can be presented as a 4-day class if you do not desire any ASP.NET training.

One-Day ASAP Courses

NewTech’s ASAP courses are fast, intense, no-hands-on lectures in key technologies. They are appropriate for anyone with an IT background that needs an intense orientation and tour through key technologies.

These courses are great for managers and developers alike. We move at a quick pace and you exit the course with an armful of useful takeaway material for further study.

Multi-Day, hands-on BOOTCAMP Courses

After attending ASAP, you may want to really drill deeper. BOOTCAMP courses let you do that. Our BOOTCAMP courses are intense hands-on drilldowns for developers only. We teach the easy stuff fast, and save the detailed explanations and hands-on exercises for those concepts that are not easily obtained by reading a book.

NewTech’s BOOTCAMP courses are appropriate for developers only. BOOTCAMP courses are very code-intense and assume you are a developer, very comfortable with code-based demonstrations.

On Site Training Classes

NewTech also conducts ONSITE training classes at your site. In addition, we can customize a course just for you and teach it at either your site or at our offices. We typically provide customizations tailored to your precise requirements. Please call or email us for onsite course pricing.

Refunds

If for any reason you are not happy with any NewTech course, notify the instructor before the first break of the first day of training and we will return your payments in full. NewTech courses are rated extremely high by attending students across a wide cross section of industries. We have been in business for almost nine years teaching over 50,000 developers. We are confident your experience in our classroom will be first-rate.

Cancellations

If you cancel a registration, there is no penalty involved and we return your money promptly. You can substiitute a different student anytime.

Changes to Pricing

Our pricing will change from time to time without notice. Please call for details on any course you may wish to attend.
