New Technology Solutions (NewTech) has signed leases and laid plans for a state-of-the-art developer training facility located in the heart of Providence. "The Providence market is a perfect next location for NewTech, explains Dan Mezick, President. "The Rhode Island economy is very healthy, especially in and around Providence. Rhode Island is a great place to live, with affordable housing and plentiful jobs. Most importantly, Rhode Island encourages high-tech business. Our developer training center will serve the needs of I/T shops located within 40 miles of Providence."

The new training facility and consulting office is located in the heart of Providence: the financial district, which is anchored by the art-deco-style Fleet Bank building. The NewTech/Providence office is located in the Turk's Head Building, a Providence landmark at the corner of Weybosset and Westminster Street, in the heart of the financial district.

"Like all of our locations, we will offer a recurring schedule of open enrollment training in the key development technologies,", explained Mezick. "All of our courses are full-immersion, fast-paced, intense training for pro developers. Providence will offer quick training for developers in Visual Basic, web development with Active Server Pages, and our new XML course. Training in COM+/MTS for very advanced developers is also planned."
